OvrC

As of late I have been noticing accounts that have an OVRC pro device that has been in the past been actively monitored, in some cases for years, are no longer monitoring the systems. Specifically speed test & latency possibly others. When need arises to check these systems, history and status is unavailable. It requires dealer attention to turn it back on, and at that time its too late to be of any assistance to the end user, and the active situation.

Why does it take so long for OVrC devices to show up in OVrC again after a reboot? OVrC Devices should auto check-in with OVrC Server after being rebooted. This was a particular annoyance when setting up an Araknis network and making changes to the APs. Several changes force a reboot of the APs and then you can't see the APs again for 10 minutes +/-. This makes setting up a network take longer than it should!

On the snap one website's strong rack builder, there is no way to delete components. The tutorial video shows a delete button when highlighting devices, which does not currently exist.

Trying to add device notes to a device on a site, I enter them, save them, get the saved confirmation message but when I navigate away from device notes and then back again they are not there at all.

Our typical morning routine was to login to the OvrC dashboard, filter all locations by the critical notifications, to see who had offline equipment and why. The recent GUI update has eliminated that sort window that used to appear in the upper right corner of the screen. It was vital to quickly asses the health of all systems with a single glance.

I cannot delete multiple users without refreshing the page. Should also be able to check multiple and delete them in bulk. And having to type REMOVE USER is non-standard UI experience, should not have to do this. It should be a recycle bin that deletes after 30 days.

Please remove non ovrc devices from this list. I don't care that my laptop and phone were connected to the previous customer ovrc. Its completely worthless.

Whenever there's a mass service event in our area we are flooded with offline notifications. The issue is they can't be easily sorted in our (dealer) e-mail inbox. Please let us customize notification formats or change the default email template to something like: OvrC Notification: <client_name> - <site_name> | [event_type]: [detail] so the email notification subject line would read: "OvrC Notification: Dobb, Bob - Slacker Home | Over Voltge: Wattbox 1 - Outlet 10"

We have probably 60 DCHP Reservations on average, with some projects going much higher. Can we have the Name in ovrc match the reservation name of that mac address in the router (as long as the router is the pro host for that site). Also backwards, if we update the Name in ovrc, and its reserved in that dhcp reservation table, can we have it update the reservation? Or maybe a button to manually do this? "Synch reservations with OVRC" for example. "Synch OVRC Names with existing dhcp reservation table" Lastly, could we please be able to change the reserved IP from OVRC. Being able to reserve the mac address with 1 click is nice. But adjusting the IP would be even better. And then exporting and importing this list into routers would be very helpful. I've seen a post about it on here from earlier. Thanks.
