A Parental Control WiFi On/Off Button

Having the ability to disable/enable the broadcast of a ssid so parents can control kids access to wifi is very important. Apple Devices have rotating MAC Address feature, so using MAC filtering method does not work. Being able to turn ssid broadcasting off in the user app is the best scenario. If a system does not have cellular access to re-enable the ssid, a private ssid can be programmed, and stay active so parents can stay logged on to then control the kids wifi network. This feature has been requested many times.

There is a Schedule option in Araknis APs. Although it currently does not support OvrC Connect (on/off button for customers) it will provide the ability to control the time of day a single-band SSID broadcasts regardless of Private Network Address or the like in any mobile device. Adding OvrC Integration to the Schdule function could be a solution that would allow the customer the level of control they're seeking. For now the schdule can be implemented and adjusted via the AP GUI.
