Also you can't "overtake" SnapAV devices tied to another company's OvrC account without a hub.
Not sure if this would fall under this topic or if I should make a new one.

Totally agree

what would the benefit of this be?

Alexis Delgado: The hub has features the router doesn't (and likely won't) Currently you can't claim them on the same location.

Justin Morris: What features are different? They seem the same to me.

Rob Dunham: I can log into the hub and then tunnel into other devices on other networks. I use a hub to access a just add power system remotely, I haven't found a way to do that with the router.

Justin Morris: They both have the same remote connect features as far as I'm aware. I do that on routers as well by clicking the remote connect icon. Make sure you have the correct service ports set for scanning first.

Rob Dunham: You're not wrong. I don't know of a way to have OVRC scan through the Just Add Power network and detect those devices. What I was talking about was being able to log into the Pro Hub remotely and then connect to Just Add Power nodes through the Pro Hub's web interface. It's not the end of the world but is a difference I have found in the two. Maybe theres a way to have the router scan devices on the video IP lan that aren't MoIP?
