Please don't update OvrC Hubs at 8:00 PM

Every day each device (including 310/110 routers) with an OvrC hub is auto-updating at 8:00 PM local time. Yesterday, this caused the failure of a clients router. Perhaps 2-4 AM would be a better time to schedule an auto-update. Also consider not auto-updating and letting the dealer decide when to push a fwup.

Chris Worthington Do you have a support case number or something similar? I would like to review the case to understand how the OvrC Pro application impacted the routers performance. We intentionally built the OvrC Pro update process to not impact the host device and therefor can be performed automatically, without impact to the system. The exception to auto-updating is when there is a firmware update required and those are done manually at this time.
We do have plans for auto-updating devices as a feature that would give the flexibility that is being requested.

Evan Marty: I still don't understand why it has to be done at 8:00 PM? If it doesn't impact functionality, then it will equally not impact functionality at 3:00 AM. I can't find the case number. Can you tell me the email it would have come from?

Agreed, this should be a setting based on the set time zone for the specific site. You already have all this info.
