POE ON/Off
complete

Why was this marked complete? As far as I can see, the option is still not available!

Marcel Vachon: It shows up for me when adding a command under Client Services. You just have to change the device to the PoE switch. There's not a toggle option, so you would have to make an On button and an Off button.
H
Holger Lindner
Geoff Waller: That's helpful. Thanks. Question: can you schedule the on/off feature or is it just a toggle switch you have to activate manually ?
H
Holger Lindner
And it only allows me to reboot but not to permanently switch on/off

Holger Lindner: Is this a 210 or better PoE switch? Mine gives the options Reboot Device (switch), Reset PoE Port(s), Switch PoE Port(s) On, and Switch PoE Port(s) Off. I do not see any way to schedule this via OvrC. The switch's webUI may offer that ability.

Geoff Waller: It's a Pakedge S3. But thanks for sharing. I think the reboot is as far as I can get until the scheduling function will be finally made available on OVRC. bakpak was so much more customizable...

Evan Marty: Hi EVan, you marked the post as complete but I did not receive an answer yet to my question. Did I miss anything ?

Yes, Toogle or On and OFF. I had to made a WB150 relay via the C4 driver to get my client to have the option to off and On a outlet via a experience button. very long process lol Please add this.

Same for WattBox power ports. The client should be able to shut off an outlet in OvrC Home. For example, a kid's bedroom TV or gaming system at bedtime.

Jim Yadon
Andrew Mieczkowski: It makes no sense to only have restart as an option.
A
Andrew Mieczkowski
Jim Yadon: Finally, it no longer is the only option. ON, OFF are not available command options.

planned

Evan Marty: there’s planned and then there is doing it. Been requested for a very long time and seen no outcome. A lot of things seemed planed in OvrC, but just not done.

if its an araknis switch then you already have the ability to do a port reboot. No Off/On function yet though, only a reboot.
