In France, and we believe also elsewhere in Europe, it is common practice to keep an email address for life. Our customers do not want to change their email address when switching accounts or dealers, and their email providers often do not allow for easy creation of +aliases like Google does. Therefore, it is a recurring customer request to be able to reuse their email address.
