It would be really nice if we can have a way to set our default sort by. 
In the App you can't change the sort by at all.

Totally agree. its a waste of time resorting by IP address every time the devices page refreshes

This was updated last week in the mobile app, you should be able to click on the 'Sort' header on the device list. Let me know if it isn't working for you!
